Turnitin plugin not copying due dates to submit.ac.uk

Hello


We have an issue with the turnitin plugin within the moodle assignment activity.

It seems that for some assignments the due date specified in Moodle is not copied across to the equivalent assignment in submit.ac.uk. Instead the due date on submit.ac.uk is 1 month from the create date of the assignment.

The problem we have is that a number of assignments were set up at the start of term to have a due date towards the end of term. Now when students submit their assignment they get an error message that the due date has passed (the assignment is still accepted in moodle, its just that it does not appear on submit.ac.uk and therefore no originality report)


Has anyone else had this problem, and if so do you have a solution?

Hi Iain,

We've had a similar issue reported that has been fixed and released. Due dates and Late submissions are different workflows in Turnitin and Moodle so we always have to push the due date ahead in Turnitin.
