We are currently trialling Moodle 2.8 on our test server ready to roll out to production in the new year. So far everything is going fairly well (apart from image sizing in IE10).
The biggest problem for us is the use of macrons, commonly used in Māori language. ← this one if showing up was copied and pasted from MS Word.
I had previously edited TinyMCE character map to include the macrons and it worked well. I don't want to use TinyMCE any more because of other issues. I have edited Atto (uploaded to GitHub) but it is a hack which now has the html code (&amacron;) removed and the numerical code in twice otherwise it doesn't work.
I am curious to know whether other New Zealanders think this would be an important addition?
