Testing in production seems to be the constant in some cases like this. We rely on first adopters to discover all the hidden little details not detected in development.
But still it is just an habit in me. Since I always rather be proactive than reactive, I kind of wish we could avoid having issues once the version is released. The less time we spend in reactive development (or technical support) the more time we spend on new stuff. Which is always in high demand by end users. Mais C'est comme ça .
By the way, I just released a new update. It includes 3 more changes you definitively want to have.
- Fixed issue with rooms not properly created when using groups or grouping, and also, students were not able to join the "all users" room, only their assigned group room.
- Fixed issue affecting the plugin RecordingsBN. Publish/Unpublish and Delete recording actions were not working for users other than the administrator.
- Added a capability for managing recordings. Administrators can now define if a role is going to be able to manage (publish/unpublish and delete) the recordings in a course, no matter the permissions granted as BBB users.
And hopefully these are going to be the last ones for this version. Next step before releasing is to make sure everything is translated. I'll volunteer for Spanish :D
