Do you mean the "description" box, in quiz settings?
I'm curious what you are looking to do by hiding it?
Also, do you not want your teachers to see this either?

I want to hide the little box next to the quiz pages, with "Question 1..." as you see in the attached image.
The goal is to use as much of the screen width for the question as possible.
I could hide it with the css settings ".info", but that does leave a blank space where the box was. But I have no idea how to change the question page layout.
If the teachers can see it, it would be a plus, but I didn't want to make it any more complex than necessary.

Another option woudl be to show it as a vertical strip above the question, rather than on the left.
That should be doable with just CSS changes.
Actually, I failed doing this, I couldn't find the right class.
So a hint would be very appreciated.

I've never done it myself (but I want to the next time we redesign the OU's custom theme).
I am sure it can be done just with CSS, but you will have to undo all the default styles in the standard theme.
