Is Tim Hunt a good guy or what?

Periodically, I check into Quiz to see what's going on. More often, I just read the email notifications about this forum.

What I see, almost always, is Tim responding to almost every question posed. And not just in Quiz.

So, the proposition is to say thanks to Tim for his work on the Quiz forum and also the other forums.

Click reply to say "Me Too!"

P.S. Meaning no disrespect to Jean-Michel Védrine who co-moderates the Quiz forum.

Both Tim and Jean-Michel are not good guys, they are "the best."  Moodle is lucky to have their continued contributions.  Thanks Tim and Jean-Michel!

What I don't know is how Tim finds time to write code, patrol the forums, hang out in the tracker and all the other stuff a person has to do.

Thanks everyone.  It is nice to be appreciated. Now you can get back to moaning about all the things that suck in the quiz, just to make sure I don't run out of work to do wink

To answer Justin's implied question:

  • I don't have children, and
  • I don't have a television.

Both of these decisions seem to save a lot of time.

Crack me up! I am leading the charge for my English department, so I'll be coming for a lot of help. (I've been using Moodle on my own for years as a singleton. Now I be helping others.)

I'm not sure who this Tim Hunt exactly is, but he has helped me out countless times through his selfless quiz-related postings on Moodle.org. So is he a good guy? Hmm...let's see (flips a coin). Yes Heads it is. He is a good guy. "Sire, my life is ever at your command, but my honour is my own."

I certainly appreciate Tim's hard work.

I'm about to try to get him to approve some changes in Quiz core. My appreciation of him may change during that process. ;)

depends on

a) the changes

b) a solid rationale

c) long term purpose

d) impact on L&T

e) how much impact on other elements of quiz functionality

no order of priority....but all will sway decision...I COULD BE WRONG.... I doubt it smile All in good humour, of course....please....get into too much trouble otherwise!
