We have been offering our faculty member stipends ($1,500.00) for 1) attending a five week blended training and 2) redesigning their courses using the blended approach. We are revisiting the issue by doing some sort of benchmarking so we know what other universities are following. I noticed that some are not giving $ but giving points instead which help in the assessment process for the academic promotion. Others are giving symbolic gifts such as IPads...
Can you please share with us what are you using to encourage your faculty to invest in E-Learning?
