How can I include a Virtual class plugin in my moodle 2.6. I have searched but most of the plugins are third party and payable. Can you suggest free plugins? I need a plugin in such a way that the teacher should able to do a virtual class, where students can participate on that and also can able to ask questions. Please guide me guys.
You already have a virtual class with the standard moodle, where students can participate. My guess is that you mean video conference, where everyone is seen, can speak, and be heard live, I'd search for bigbluebutton and video conference to find the others. Bigbluebutton is free and open source. Yes, there are some that are commercial, and you must pay for the services, and they should state that before downloading.
Also try searching video audio open source,
I would also recommend poodll http://poodll.com/
All plugins are third party, mostly open source, but some are commercial.
Thank you very much. I will check
If you come across any problems using BigBluebutton, please post back and ask, as there are are members here who can help. You will definately have to do a test run.
How to install
There is also a new kid in town ... which looks pretty good, though it is early days ...
Thanks for the link, as this looks promising. I somehoiw missed that interesting thread.
you can use OpenMeetings as well for creating web conference rooms. It is also open source software and a free plugin for moodle is also available:
Thanks & Greetings,
