I have started to use the Journal activity for more writing assignments with my students this year because I really like being able to go down the page reading and grading without have to click from page to page. One problem I keep running into is trying to keep track of which student entries need their grades updated after a student makes revisions and resubmits.
Today I checked, and it was very easy to add just a few lines of code to the lib.php file along with a new entry in the language file that will change the date and time of the timemarked that gets placed next to the grade, to a message saying the entry needs to be regraded, if the student resubmits by clicking on Save changes.
Anyone who would like to try it out, let me know. I am also open to suggestions as to what the message should be before I try to get David to add to the plugin code.
