Hi Mathew,
These are great plugins and would be great to add to the Moodle repertoire of tools. Are there any plans to maintain the Participation Forum and Map plugins or was this a one-off, proof of concept research project?
The two plugin websites are still up but the modules no longer install correctly in later versions of Moodle:
