Hi,

Since I choose another language on Moodle today, I have this message appearing on my Moodle site:

Warning: get_string_from_file(/home/demers/public_html/cours/lang/en/view.php/moodle.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/demers/public_html/cours/lib/moodlelib.php on line 1237

I am unable to get to my courses! Please help me! I need to get Moodle working well for Monday!

I have installed Moodle 1.1.1 last week. It was working well until I tried to get the site in an other language (English).

My site is: http://cours.techorange.ca

Click on a course and you see appearing the warnings!

Regards,

Francois

What a strange error message! mixed

Unfortunately your site is protected with a password and isn't accessible to have a look.

Sorry, I forgot to tell about the protection that I have put when I saw the strange behavior.
I don't want my students to see this.

To access the page, the username is "moodle" and the password is "moodle".

I have been on the page and the answer is different.
It says that there is no space left on /tmp.

You can still see the get_string_from_file warning by clicking on a course.

Something is very odd about your Apache setup ... you may have a bad alias or a redirect in your httpd or .htaccess .. when I click on a course I get sent to this URL:

http://cours.techorange.ca/index.php?lang=en/view.php

Now, of course, there is no language called "en/view.php" so that's why you see errors.

Thanks for the answer.

I will ask for an alias or a redirect to my Web provider but could it be something around the language?

Could it be related to this problem?

http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=2365

Where can I find the information about "lang" in the MySQL Moodle database? Somewhere "lang" is set to "en/view.php". I could change it manually and see if it comes back?

I need to go back to a functional setting soon!

Best regards,

Francois

PS: Have you notice that when one choose a language on the page, the warning desepear.

No, it's nothing to do with that phpMyAdmin problem (or Moodle) because the lang=en/view.php is occurring in the actual address. There's nowhere in Moodle that could be doing that.

Ok, I find it! Indeed it was a redirect that I have made and that I had forgotten.

Thanks for your help!
