I am using Moodle 1.5+ the original stable release, and when my students try to upload assignments that are using Dial-Up connections they get a cgi error that looks like this:

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set
of HTTP headers.

I contacted my Web Host, and they sent me this reply:

Ferlin,

The Upload timeout's are set to 3600 seconds OR 60 minutes. That should be plenty of time Could be that the dial up connection just can't handle it and or is breaking up while uploading and your scripts don't like that.

So, in other words, they think it is a problem in the upload scripts for Moodle.

Is there something in the scripts that may cause this type of error?

If so, what can I do to remedy it?
