As promised then, the aim here is to address what I did in terms of the thread: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=265939
First, I collated and sorted the responses from community members in that thread, which yielded a number of categories:
A. The current structure and processes: Moodle's Roadmap
D. Moodle testing/comparison/ designs-improvements for UI/UX
E. Useful models for practice
Secondly, I posted a summary of each category's items into the general forum.
Thirdly, I reflected on those categories and identified an overarching theme: Moodle Learning and Teaching Enhancement
Next, I tracked elements spanning 1.9-V2.8 (in the Docs), of which directly linked with L&T (only). Please see the Google doc (table 1.) on this link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/16ddZC3nQ_k-zyEeIcW7xVYAqBGpY_gIUNe8LRktkSQs/edit?usp=sharing (please note the formatting was a nightmare.....bold/times new roman/calibre...sorry Google doc disappointment scale remains high 10/10)
I then mapped out a matrix in order to make links across the following items (Martin has this Doc):
a)Moodle version - b) Learning and Teaching Feature (standard) & Possible Action for enhancement based on tracked events (table 1.)-c) those community members comments within the related categories that stemmed from moodle.org roadmap thread.
That matrix presents a narrative focusing on four distinct areas in terms of continuity and progression as well as selective alignment with the detail in table 1. (Enhancement items for L&T 1.9-V2.8):
1. Standard Features/improvements
3. Implications for practice
4. Points for consideration to inform ACTION/tracker item triage/urgency? And community members' views.
