Thanks for the reply. The Admin > Import process works for the affected course. I was hoping to copy over student information in the test course to better test the grading problem, which is why I went with Restore instead of Import.
I've looked through our database, but wasn't able to find anything that really stood out to me. To save myself from running around in circles, I think the best option for the instructor is to continue manually uncheck override for each grade item.
