We are on Moodle 2.7.1 at the moment. If we search for a student using Google image search and the student has a Moodle profile picture and interest tags, their profile picture from our Moodle site shows up in the search results.
We have Open to Google unchecked in our site policies.
Is there any way to turn this off? Any other options to hide the interest tags from search engines?

have you tried "forceloginforprofileimage" setting ?
Anyway, i think that "closed to google" maybe should mark this option true too..

Thanks for the suggestion. I just enabled the "forceloginforprofileimage" option, and will see if that helps.
"opentogoogle" has been unchecked (set to No) the entire time, so that apparently doesn't actually work for profile images and interest. I'm wondering if it should, and if I should submit a bug report in Tracker?
