Upgrade Database Read Error

Upgrading from 2.6 to 2.7.2. Did all of the necessary steps, including increasing the execution time to get the process to work. 

Now throws error "Table [mysql_database_name].mdl_course_module_availability does not exist". 

Looked into database, and did not see table. How do I get one there?

When I click on Notifications, it gives me an error message : "the code used to build this database is not the same as when it was written" (or something like that)

The error code is "downgradedcore"

Any help from anyone out there?
