database problem during upgrade to 2.7.2

Hello,

I was running moodle 2.7.1 fine when trying to upgrade to version 2.7.2 the system keeps coming with the following error.




Please help. what should i do? is it a moodle bug? I am a teacher and my course currently isn't working for my students.

Hello Greg,

That is quite strange because you have a 5.5.5 MySQL and Moodle 2.7.1 requires having MySQL version 5.5.31, minimum:

I really wonder how were you able to install and run Moodle 2.7.1. Regardless, you need to upgrade your MySQL to at least version 5.5.31, thought it would be best to use the latest (currently, the 5.5.39):
