Hi Gareth,

adding the required information here:

we're using grid version 2014080900 and Moodle 2.7.1+

The theme is completely self-made, and it's still one of those based on standard/base, not responsive or using bootstrap.

Hi Gorn,

With respect, this is not a Grid format issue but a problem with the z-index of your custom theme.  It would be impossible for me to support all possible combinations of custom code.  If it was a bug or a clash with core code then I would do something about it.

I'll talk to the theme developers then, maybe they can fix it. We definitely want to keep the grid format, it's very useful.
