We are running Moodle 2.7, and have installed in the latest HotPot plugin version. However, when students complete a HotPot activity this is "visible" to them on the course page, in their User Report in the Gradebook the HotPot score is hidden. Curiously, it is also hidden from the teacher on the Grader Report page, UNTIL the teacher turns on the Editing tools in the Gradebook.....then the students' scores appear.
On each HotPot activity in the gradebook (the activity is visible in the Gradebook to the teacher, but not the score until EDITING is turned on), there is no EYE to make that particular activity visible or hidden, as there is for all other activities in the Gradebook.
Finally, in the SETTINGS for the HotPot Gradebook Item, the HIDDEN box is checked.....and yet I cannot find anywhere else in either the course page or the HotPot activity itself where any settings is marked as hidden.
We have never had trouble with any aspect of HotPots before. This curious Gradebook weirdness is driving me crazy....can anyone suggest a possible fix? To summarize:
1) HotPot activity is visible on course page, and in its EDIT SETTINGS it is marked as "show"
2) HotPot score in Gradebook is invisible to teacher until they turn on the Gradebook Editing tools
3) HotPot score in Gradebook is always invisible to student
4) In the Gradebook Categories and Items, the HotPot activity is visible, and in fact has no EYEBALL icon on it.
