I have a taskchain set up (lastest version of taskchain and Moodle
2.7.1) with several Hot Potato jqz generated htm files. The tasks are
referenced via aliases.
The
title shows up in Moodle as taken from the file as well as the option
to preview the taskchain. What also shows up are the instructions for
the first .htm file which are really instructions for that task or set of questions in the
taskchain and not overall instructions for all of the tasks as is suggested by having those instructions appear before I even preview the taskchain. I don't want these to be seen by the students until they started the first set of questions in the first task.
So I enter the taskchain to edit it and these instructions show up in the entry page text. I tried to edit the instructions there, but they don't save.
I don't know if there is some work around. What I have
thought of doing is adding .htm file to each of my taskchains that is a
sort of instructions file with global instructions and reminders for the
lesson that has a "I understand" button that the students check that
then takes them to the first real task.
Perhaps I should be importing the files in a different way.
Thanks for any help, perspective you can offer here.
