Cas 4.0 and Moodle integration

Hi,

As part of a student project I should create an environment with the Moodle 2.6 and CAS 4.0 SSO authentication on my local machine (Windows 7) and later after the presentation I might need to migrate and replicate the changes to a proper school environment.

I have been trying and reading a lot from the blogs and the manuals but I still have a lot of problems with the integration between these two systems.

For now I have the both systems set on my local computer and they are both accessible (http://localhost:11180/login/index.php for the Moodle System and https://localhost:8443/cas/login for the CAS system).

I am able to log in to the Moodle system via the moodle users that I have created directly in it but I can't do the integration between these two different systems.

Since the setup currently should be on my local machine I need the most basic way of authentication that can complete the whole integration of these two systems, i.e. even if it is just sending random user and password via query string it will do the job and won't be a problem for the presentation since this is not the target of the whole presentation that I am preparing.
(I have tryed LDAP but I got stuck in deep troubles till now, that is why I'm asking for the easiest way of integration in between that is possible)

Thank you in advance for your time and for helping me with my troubles.

Best Regards,

Aleksandar
