Moodle 2.7
I must have adjusted some setting/permission somewhere and now the "site pages" node does not appear in my navigation block. It does not appear for my administrator account nor for either of my dummy student accounts.
I have enabled "Show front page activities in the navigation" from Site administration > Appearance > Navigation but can't figure out what else to try. Can anyone offer a suggestion?

Luckily, I found the solution to this problem. In the settings for the Navigation block, I had set 'Generate navigation for the following' to "Categories and courses". This causes the site pages node to disappear from the navigation menu (I assume because site pages are an activity on the front page, which is technically a course).
Bottom line, setting 'Generate navigation for the following' to 'Everything' restored the Site Pages node.
