I would like to add a resource to a course in which I could include a dictionary. Ideally it would have a row for each word in the target language, and would include an image of that word, a transliteration, translations, part of speech, chapter where first encountered, notes.

I could do this with a database or a glossary, but is there a better way? I am sure that this must have been done many times before, but am struggling to locate suitable suggestions. Being able to use entries from the dictionary into quizzes and flashcards would be an added bonus!

I am currently using Moodle v2.5 but could upgrade.
