Order of the list of courses in the home site page

Hi all,


I have this question and I hope somebody can answer it. On the Site home page, can courses be ordered by course name, then course start date with the most recent courses appearing first?

The order is set in the category.  However you order them there, is how they will appear on the Front Page.  Admin/courses/manage courses and categories.

Thanks you for your answer. Following your steps, I noticed that we can order by: fullname, shortname and idnumber. Is it possible to order by

fullname and course start date (as an example)? Is that a setting in Moodle?
