Hi,  apologies in advance if this has been asked before.  

Using Moodle 2.6 I have added a Remote RSS Feed block to the Default My Home page and have added in a feed from a forum in a course that we are using to post cohort announcements.   The forum is configured as Separate groups to reflect the tutor groups within the cohort.

However when I've tested this with a student account that is only in one group, the RSS feed is displaying ALL the discussions, not just the ones from the group the student is a member of (though when they click on the discussion posted to a different group it comes up with a 'You do not have permission...' screen).

Does anyone know a way to fix this so that it only displays the discussions they have access to?  

I really want these announcements to appear on the My Home page, but different students will get them from different sources so the RSS feed seems to be the best way.
