Hi Moodlers,

Essential has a fixed icon colour because not all of the icons can be replaced by a icon font but are instead embedded within the JavaScript as images rather than the code returned by the method 'render_pix_icon' in the output renderer.  Because currently svg's cannot be changed in CSS or PHP on the fly (please say if there is a mechanism that is efficient) then it looks odd when the FontAwesome icons change and the others do not.

Therefore, please vote for: MDL-37231.
