I'm migrating a site...thought I just rebuild on an entirely new server and use the backup/restore to move the courses I want over to the new site. I'm getting mixed results.
1-smaller backups seem to restore fine.
2-a larger backup 550mb, fails with the "error/tmp_backup_directory not found error.
I've read the tracker items on this...about larger restores not working, however, I can take this same file and it restores just fine on the 2.6 install, but not on the new 2.7 install. I read posts about deleting the quiz items. that seems to allow the restore on 2.7, but is also missing a lot of other items... like all the posts in the social forum.
I think I have things configured the same, although the 2.7 server is a Mac mini running 10.9.4, the 2.6 server is a Mac Pro running 10.7.5.
Any thoughts on where to look next to solve this problem?
