Hi Vidhya,

in your post you said "I am new to use hotpot. I am going to use this module so as to create quizes", but actually the HotPot module doesn't create the quizzes, it only allows you to administer them via Moodle.

To create a Hot Potatoes quiz, you need the Hot Potatoes programs. These programs run on your PC. Actually there are 6 programs, but they are usually referred to all together as just "Hot Potatoes". You can download "Hot Potatoes" from the following URL:
http://web.uvic.ca/hrd/halfbaked/index.htm#downloads

The Hot Potatoes website has some good tutorials on how to create quizzes:
http://web.uvic.ca/hrd/halfbaked/tutorials6.htm

Once you have created a quiz on your PC, you upload it to your Moodle site and add it to your course as a HotPot activity.

Please be sure to use your Hot Potatoes quizzes according to Hot Potatoes license:

all the best

Beste Vidhya,

As Gordon says, you should download the hot potatoes program first and get it registered. ( you don't have to pay for that.)

But for getting a good impression about Hot Potatoes, you can look here:
http://web.uvic.ca/hrd/halfbaked/sites6.htm

Many examples of hot potatoe exercises.

On my own website www.hennyjellema.nl I do have 200 or so potatoes. I made them before I ever heard of Moodle.

Hartelijke groeten van Henny.
