I have a couple of students who having dropped an earlier course are now retaking it.

At the end of the term the course was reset.

The gradebook shows no attempts or score for each of these students, but when they login they see their prior attempts.

I've tried deleting and re-importing (with recover grades off), but the the marks come back regardless.

Since some items have restrictions they can no longer perform these activities unless I manually delete attempts--surely there must be an easier way to do this.

Or if not, how do I remove all attempts at the end of the term to ensure any re-attempts are not part of the new term?
