Hello,

I am in a bit of conundrum over here on a Moodle instalation - I have multiple select-type questions and short answer-type question in my quizzes.

Is it possible for the multiple-select-type questions to be automatically graded by Moodle, whilst the text ones wait for manual grading by a teacher ?

Option 1. use 'Essay' questions. (You can make the input box quite small.)

Option 2. use shortanswer, and just live with the fact that Moodle assigns a grade by default. You can still alter it manually later.
