Many of the courses we run are rolling ones. Recently we changed the 'enrollment expiry action' to "disable course enrolment and remove roles' after X number of days.
Obviously, when the action runs the user's grades no longer appear in the gradebook since the user is enrolled, but no longer has the role or 'student'.
So, the question is can we force the gradebook and completion report to show all participants, including those with no role?
As a solution though, what we'd really like to happen is that the 'enrollment expiry action' action would only suspend the user in the course, but not remove the role.
Any ideas on these thoughts? Currently we're running Moodle 2.5.
