I have installed Poodll and the Poodll Filter using the "Install Add-on from Plugin Directory" function. Everything installed fine, and I can see the plugin when I go to "Plugins Overview." The issue that I'm having is that I cannot see Poodll when I go to "Add Activity or Resource" for my course. I have also enabled the filter.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please explain in laymen's terms. I am very new to new Moodle.

The reason you can't see anything in "add an activity" is that there is no "PoodLL Activity."
Depending on the plugins you installed,
i) when you add an assignment, you will be able to select PoodLL (recording, whiteboard etc) for the submission [PoodLL Assignment Submission]
ii) when you add questions to a quiz you will be able to choose the poodll question [PoodLL Recording Question]
iii) when you use the html editor , you will be able to add PoodLL stuff (audio recordings, drawings etc) [PoodLL Anywhere for Atto/TinyMCE]
Maybe you could start with the Assignment Submission, or PoodLL Anywhere?
