There is nothing wrong with Shoehorn...I think it is a brilliant little theme and full of your innovative ideas which makes it unique. But there are parts of it, or is it BS3 in general, that I am not happy about, because I don't understand some of the logic behind what is going on.
Having spent the last few years with the old themes, where the layouts were solid and very rarely caused grief until the custom block regions went daft, and then Sam fixed some things that seemed to break other things. and so the story goes on and on, fixing/breaking/fixing/breaking...And hen getting to grips with BS2.3.2 and finding that a pain some days, and still the layouts are not 100% correct yet. And now the same thing is happening in BS3, perhaps because we don;t really understand how Moodle works...and to tell you the truth, I think the DEV's have lost the plot sometimes too!
Oh I am filled with woe and depressed...as I want to add a Expand/Collapse font icon instead of the text Expand/Collapse link in the category list on the frontpage.
It's all this blasted JS everywhere with a toggle but nowhere can I find how to bypass the get_string in the JS file...what a pain.
Humph! as the camel said in the Just so Story.
