Problems after upgrade to 2.5.6+

I'm having a problem getting my site upgraded. We currently have a moodle 2.5.1+ running in production.  On our development server I am trying to upgrade to 2.5.6+.  I can get through the upgrade process but after the upgrade, trying to enter any of my courses as an administrator forces me into the "Adding a new SCORM package" page and I can't access the any other part of the course.

If I am logged in as a student and try to access a course that I am enrolled in I get a "Could not find a scorm course here" error message and I can't see any of the rest of the course.

I have tried different themes, and uninstalling the certificate module, with no change.

I don't use the SCORM module so I tried uninstalling it, but that caused other errors/ issues to pop up.  So that doesn't seem to be a solution.

Any ideas how I might fix this issue?
