i have just installed moodle and have gone into the user authentication place on moodle and changed the login page or somin like that and when i go on logon notheing never happens it just keeps loding nothing like its on a loop. in the box i put in the login page, should have i done this? how can i slove it? in a script somewere?

If you entered a URL in the box that asks for an alternate login page and that URL was the login/index.php then you are now in a loop. I had a similar situation today when I was troubleshooting the No Authentication problem that still has not been resolved in the Bug Tracker.
The only way you are going to be able to get out of the loop is to login to phpMyAdmin and edit the mdl_config table to empty id #10 alternateloginurl. Don't delete it, just edit the table to remove the URL you entered.
