Partial parts of words autolinking to the glossary

Here is a sentence from my 2.6 build  (Build: 20131205) of Moodle

This module is designed to give you an understanding

I have more than few acronyms running though my Glossary and I cant understand why it is linking partial parts of words back to the glossary and not whole ones as this would be fine if UL or STA were in the sentence just not partial words as above. How do I stop this behaviour without going through manually with the NOLINK tags??

Hi Craig,

Have you checked the "match whole words only" option in the Glossary instance? If you change it, it may take some time for the changes to show up in your course pages. You can purge the cache to speed it up Site Administration > Development > Purge all caches: http://docs.moodle.org/26/en/Purge_all_cache
