Message students selected from attendance report

Hi all,

We have developed a number of additional features for mod_attendance and would like to measure the interest in adding them to the community version.

This topic covers the ability for teachers to message a selection of students from any of the attendance reports.

As shown in the attached image (message.png) the teacher can select from the list of students provided in the report and click on send message to be taken to the message creation screen. The messaged created there will be sent to all selected students.

Thanks Joseph - looks like some interesting features you have added - are you able to post the code you are using that makes these changes? - it would be great if you were able to provide a diff or patch rather than just a copy of your code so we can see the specific changes you have added.

You rocks men.... I installed and tested the Attendance update and ITs working smoothly until now.


Beside this new feature, this release, has something else?
