I have set up a FTF activity with a required payment amount. However, I do not get any requirement for a payment anywhere? I visit as a guest, I log in with a new account and then nothing. What am I missing to get FTF to requirement a payment before enrolling in the course?

I've posted a response in https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=261794#p1134494 which hopefully helps to explain this and where the value should appear.
The payment fields are, in this module, optional display values but are not connected to any payment gateway or conditional checks for signing up. The value should be displayed in the session details when the user is signed up but it is expected that payment will be made elsewhere and not within the system.
