Move Add Block tothe right side please

If there is any reason not to do this, please let me know but the "Add Block" block takes a lot of real estate out of use being on the left when in edit mode.  Why is this?

I would like to either be able to dock it on the left or move it to the right side.

Which file might I check?  I am using the Magazine theme in 2.7 Moodle.


P.S.  I hope this the appropriate location to ask this question.

I'm not sure this would be trivial to implement. The thing is, the "Move block" dialogue is generated by the core. And core is only aware of the list of all blocks at the current page. It's up to the current theme where it puts the blocks actually to.

On the other hand, core should be aware of all the regions available at the current page, IIRC. So it might be able to do that.

Sorry, just brainstorming here without actually checking the code.
