I'm currently investigating the potential for Open Badges across a wide variety of learning situations and I'm wondering if any webinar providers are looking at tracking learner activities in their solutions with Open Badges as a form of micro-credentialing, with or without Moodle as an intermediary?
I'm thinking of such things as:
- Login/logout (tracking contact hours)
- Chat tracking (# entries)
- Spot assessments (directly or via LTI)
- Peer assessments (helpfulness, etc.)
- Presenter (collect more than one)
...and any implications for xAPI?
Any thoughts? I'd love to hear them.
