Hi All,

This may be something really obvious that I cant find.

Recently discovered in Moodle 2.6.2 that the Course Search box has been removed in the new and improved 'Manage Courses and Categories' page ( Admin > Courses > Manage Courses and Categories). Admins would like to search for courses while they are on that page rather than going back to the home page and using the HTML block to search for a course. 

Any reason why that was removed from 2.6 as it was present until 2.5.2 ?

Hi Hittesh,

I've been searching in the code for when a file had '/course/search.php' removed between M2.5 and M2.6 but cannot find it.  I know that the course management page was changed.  Perhaps the tracker for that will shed some light.  Please have a search on tracker.moodle.org.
