I am trying to find out what protocol the My Private Files upload feature for Moodle uses to upload files to the private files repository.
For context, we have a web application firewall (WAF) and I'm trying to see if I can configure it to manage the upload function for users. Support for the WAF is telling me that the Moodle website we're using has to be uploading files via SCP or FTP. Which I don't think is right.
My understanding is that since Moodle is PHP based it's using an upload.php file.
I've searched the website documentation and forums and I am unable to find an answer to this question, so apologizes if the answer to this question is in an obvious place that I'm missing.
