I have created a Moodle upload form that is used to upload assets to a Hippo backend.
I also created a repository plugin that can retrieve those assets from the Hippo backend.
Part of the upload form is a filemanager element.
When the user adds files by clicking 'Add' they are presented with the filepicker showing the various repository plugins.
This includes the plugin that can be used to retrieve the files from the Hippo backend.
And thus a user can get into a 'loop'; adding files to the backend by searching and selecting them from the same backend, resulting in possible duplicates.
Although it's not really a big problem (a simple instruction not to use that repo when uploading assets should do),
I was wondering if there is a way to hide that repository for that specific filemanager form element.
I know I can influence when a repository plugin is shown using the supported_filetypes() but that is not useful here I think.
Any suggestions are as always welcomed,
