For those of you on Lubuntu or may have learners and/or staff using it, the recent update to Lubuntu (14.04) has exposed a bug in Chromium 35 (apparently 33 still works OK): No keyboard input works at all. The bug's been reported but it might take some time for them to get around to fixing it. In the meantime, just use another browser.
Is anyone running Ubuntu 14.04 with Chromium 35? Can they confirm if the bug is present on that distro?
