Hi there,

Does anyone know of a simple video conferencing solution that has been implemented as a Moodle block?  I've looked at several which are activities (i.e., Open Meeting, BigBlueButton, etc) but can't find any that are created as a Moodle block.  I would like to be able to embed a video conferencing room within a Moodle assignment using a block.  I have a Red5 server up and running so I am able to host if necessary.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

PoodLL can do some things cross over into video conferencing territory, but it depends really what you want to do. PoodLL works by adding a filter to the html area, and it then shows within the host page. So a little like block, you can enable it within assignments and other places.

 

But it is not full on video conferencing, you can show and broadcast video streams, or do video "pairwork".

 

Perhaps explain a little more what you want to do.
