I'm only days into Moodle and have found the learning curve to be quite high for someone who has not taken any type of instruction for creating a Moodle course. I'm reading posts and experimenting with the system but I'm having a hard time accepting answers within a quiz.
I teach math and if the answer to a quiz question is y=2(x-2)^2 + 3 there are multiple forms of possible correct solutions (inappropriate use of parentheses, spaces, etc). Is there an easy way of making a correct response worth 100% credit without actually typing it in as a possible solution?
It would be nice if I could see the frequency of any given answer then assign the appropriate point value for it (100%, 75%, 50%, etc).
Like I said, I'm really new to the system and do not understand any of the code that has been posted in the forum - is there a way that a beginner is able to do something like this?
