error : Sorry, the requested file could not be found for group assignment

Hello ,

I'm using moodle version 2.5.1

files submitted by students in assignements using group submissions , when being evaluated by the teacher the files give this error when trying to download any file by clicking on it

Error  :  (Sorry, the requested file could not be found)

 

the files can only be downloaded by choosing from grade action download all submissions

where all files are downloaded as 1 zip file

 

but is there a solution to be able to download file by file by clicking on it (grading action : choose)

 

changes done to allow group submission :

in course settings :

group mode : visible groups

Force group mode: No
Default gruping : None
 
in assignment settings :
 
students submit in groups  :  yes
 
Require all group members submit  : No
 
Grouping for student groups   :   None
 
is there something missing causing the problem ?

 

any help would be appreciated

Check the file name - I have come across this several times when students upload Word documents in particular which automatically take their title from the first piece of text and that title then includes various punctuation/symbol characters which prevent the file from being downloaded through a web url

Thank you , but it has nothing to do with the filename , as when I add the same file to assinment while individual submission it works fine , but the problem only occurs for assignment group submission regardless of the filename
