I would really like to have the ability to remove the confirmation-email step when using Paypal to enroll students in a course. I don't see how the confirmation email adds anything, and in our case it causes a lot of problems. We serve about three dozen American universities, and, in an effort to protect users from spam, many of their email servers block the confirmation email generated by Moodle. (Also the password reset email.)
Has anyone devised a way to disable the confirmation email when a student is enrolling using Paypal? I've requested this modification in forums and set up a Tracker, but with no response.
Would someone with the programming knowledge be willing to consider creating this modification for a fee?

I think this option would add something important to Moodle, and it would solve a major problem for us.
