I want to set moodle to run its backups to my amazon s3 account as opposed to the local folder. What would be the best way to accomplish this?
Anyone? Sorry it's probably a simple thing but I cant seem to figure it out.
Can you set up map to your external folder from your Moodle server? - then you would have a basic file path to enter in the automatic backups location.
If you want to backup to an external server then check Ahsay Software. In this software, you can run virtualized backup server instance
on public cloud such as Amazon S3 so that you don't need to maintain any
server and storage hardware. I think you can try it.
