Backup / Restore Broken !

When trying to restore a course in my site I get as far as ..

Creating temporary structures Deleting old data

... and then get An error has ocurred

Cron says:

Running backups if required...
    Checking backup status...OK
    Getting admin info
    Deleting old data
ERORR: Something went wrong while performing backup tasks!!!

Looking through this forum I think it's the temp folder.

The temp folder exists but contains nothing. It is set as 777 to apache apache. Moodle does not seem to be creating a backup folder inside the temp folder (?)

Please advise surprise

Hi.

Thanks. I did see that thread but wasn't brave enough to start playing about with the database too much. Anyhoo, a couple of the tables were corrupt and were sorted with a repair table command so everything is working again.

Thanks again

Darren
