Dynamic enrolment from Quiz Results

Dynamic enrolment from Quiz Results

Hi all,

I've been googling and searching the forums but still haven't found an answer to this. Does anyone know of a way that I can use the results from a pre-test to either

a) dynamically enrol students in only the modules relevant to the questions they failed or

b) set modules to "completed" and "hidden" when a student has answered the relevant questions correctly in the pretest?

I'm imagining that perhaps I need to get a developer to look at getting this done... but any advice on either scripts you've used / seen or a better way to do things would be appreciated!

Hi Scott,

depending on your situation, the following might work:

1. Let participants go through the quiz

2. Once a day/week etc. export results to excel

3. Based on the exported excel  generate an excel file which can be uploaded to moodle and enroll related users into their courses (http://docs.moodle.org/22/en/Upload_users)

Greetings,

Flotter

Hi Flotter,

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look at that - was really hoping I could have an automated function or script though so that students aren't delayed whilst waiting for me to upload the enrolments.

Cheers,

Scott
